The Newell Park is in memory of Gordon Newell. The Big Sur n local Sculpture who did the Butterfly at Lovers Point. He married Elenor McPartland mother of the famous local McPartland clan.

Thank you. As a 78 year old PG native I must have ignored this BS story early on. Also the only Pagrovian I’ve ever met was a non native Tribune reader. It’s just “PG”!
